The Present
The last standing Single Stall Engine House in Colorado has been restored to its 1901 grandeur. This is the centerpiece of All Aboard Westcliffe’s historical Railroad District. An Interpretive Center has been built and furnished to help tell the story of the railroad and its link to the mining and ranching heritage of this beautiful valley. A restoration workshop has been assembled and equipped to refurbish the rolling stock and to assemble exhibits, the above-mentioned engine house is being readied to serve in its new capacity as a small railroad museum to showcase an era of steam locomotive transportation that served a remote high mountain valley.

The Interpreative Center at 110 Rosita Ave, Westcliffe, Colorado. Click here for hours of operation.
